The XTEN GAMING MOUSE PAD G-CLOTH type successfully uses a fluoroplastic-coated glass fiber fabric, which is extremely difficult to process, for the surface of the mouse pad using our unique processing technology.
We were able to achieve a high level of compatibility between the conflicting functions of the HARD type's speed and the CLOTH type's controllability. The fluoroplastic-coated glass fiber fabric used for the surface is an ultra-high performance material that is non-adhesive, acid-resistant, low-friction, water- and oil-repellent, and heat-resistant. It is strong enough to be used for sliding parts of rockets, yet safe enough to comply with the Food Sanitation Law. By using this material as the surface layer of the mouse pad, the sliding performance is comparable to that of the hard type, but because it is a cloth type material, it also has a braking performance in synergy with the middle layer.
