Particle Isolation 

Particle Isolation is our method of controlling how the etching reaction develops across a large production run. Instead of exposing an entire batch to the same etching cycle, we process the glass in controlled groups of around 100 surfaces, monitoring the resulting microstructure before continuing with the next group. By continuously adjusting the etching conditions according to the measured surface profile, we prevent small chemical variations from accumulating throughout the production run.

Each stage is checked against our target **Ra, Rq, Rz, Rpk and Rk** profile, allowing the next group to be brought back toward the same surface structure. This lets us maintain the intended microtexture across thousands of surfaces rather than simply accepting the natural variation of bulk etching.
